9021-0h really?!?!?!?!?

 

Checked out the updated millennial version of BH 90210. Ok, I will admit it. I enjoyed the original 90210. Who didn’t watch when Dylan and Brenda broke up (for the first time) while REM’s Losing My Religion played in the background? I was a closet BH 90210’er but I have decided to come out. I know this blog/site is dedicated to movies, but, Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor got me through my adolescence the same way that Sharon Stone(Basic Instinct )and Flintstones era Halle Berry movies did.

I have to say that it did not suck. Of course it did help that updated versions of Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor appeared along with Aunt Becky and the dude from Silk Stalkings. The new show had everything from the bi-racial siblings(oooh cutting edge), to the Mean Girls-ish bitch, to the cool , down to earth, in touch with his students(but in a creepy way) teacher, to the Indian guy who acts as the best friend.  Despite all of these cliché characters and situations they have and will find themselves in, this writer will actually be checking out at least a few more episodes before I pass final judgment.  Until then, my DVR has found a new show to record.

What else is there on tv anyway, the Republican Convention? LOL! That’s funny.
